Walk down the street via the complex simplicity that is Richard S. Allen II as he delivers his world experiences in which he lives, through his random beliefs mashed with unorthodox skills of technological writing and vivid color. Its the gift and the curse.

Don't Hate... Appeciate

Hello Howdy & Greetings,

Once again I'm back on my blog this time to share some of my poetry that I've created. I've been in this "dance with devil" for many years now, and its been one of the best things that has come of my life thus far. She has loved me, hated me, adored me, and scorned me, but throughout it all, has been there for me. I decided to write this for after a little quarrel when i realized I was only telling her the things that I hated, or the things that she didn't do. We as a society focus so much on the negative aspects of life, that we miss the positive. So I entitled my poem: A Lil Appreciation

A Little Appreciation

I took the time out to say thank you
To tell you I appreciate all that you do
From the biggest of things, to the things so small
I want to say than you and I appreciate all
From the gifts I get and the things you buy
Instead of saying thanks love, I ruin it by asking why
I appreciate it
From the things you’re doing for us for our future
To the things you’ve run across on my computer
I appreciate it
From the money you gave when I got a ticket
To the times I'm lazy, bring you a comb, and ask you to pick it
I appreciate it
From the dishes you wash, clothes you clean
To the hugs you’ve given even when I'm being mean
I appreciate it
For time after time standing strong by my side
To my times when I travel and you let me borrow your ride
I appreciate it
For the lessons taught about things I didn’t see
To not thinking about yourself, but thinking bout we
I appreciate it
From the tears and the pain that you’ve endured
To the changes you made based of things that have occurred
I appreciate it
For making my laugh and being my friend
For opening my eyes to show, in true love, there is no end
I appreciate it
For being a true challenge for me, never giving in
For being the bigger person and the first to listen
I appreciate it
For being loving, independent, smart and a beautiful girl
For walking in my door, and changing my world
I appreciate it
I just wanted to take time to get this off my chest
To let you know I really appreciate you and that you are the best
I wanted to say thank you for coming into my life
Knowing that this is only the beginning, and ill appreciate you more when you are my wife

I, with all my heart, Love You Julie K. Leeper
(NO HOMO)

Hope you enjoyed and hope that was a reminder to appreciate the ones you care about most. Take time out today to show someone a lil appreciation today for whatever or whoever they are in your life to and for you.
